A successful candidate will have:

• A bachelor degree in accounting
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a public accounting
• Passion for an increasing knowledge base in business and taxation
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong time-management, including the ability to manage conflicting priorities
• A high level of accuracy and strong attention to details
• Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills (both written and oral)
• Team-oriented and client-focused thinking
• Honesty, integrity, promptness and ethical behavior

• Proficient with CaseWare, QuickBooks (Desktop and Online), Excel, etc.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Be able to communicate, verbal and oral, as you will be required to communicate with clients.
• Duties include full bookkeeping, payroll, HST, WSIB, etc.
• Sound judgement regarding confidential information and sensitive matters
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong understanding of a customer focused, fast paced work environment with the ability to meet deadlines
• Must have minimum 3 years public accounting experience.
